Historic Park View Elementary Balustrade Being Restored!

I couldn’t be more thrilled! I learned when I got home from work last night that the work that are doing in front of Park View Elementary includes restoration of its balustrade.

If you recall, the open areas prior to restoration had been filled in with red brick many years ago. That they are actually restoring the balustrade is great, and answers a question I’ve been trying to get answered for some time now.

Are they then working to restore the school itself (inside) as well?

Well, that is a hope, but I’ve not been able to find out what the long term plan is for the school.
