Waiting for TLC

With so much of downtown recently renovated, rebuilt, or replaced, I find it odd when I find a small stretch that seems to have been forgotten. These two facades on the south side of G street, NW, near the intersection of 14th have a lot of potential, but I don’t get a sense that they’ll be open for business any time soon.Art Deco on G Street

  1. Is this the stretch that’s going to be the Armenian Genocide museum? (no joke)

  2. I’m going to say yes, as they are right behind the bank on the corner that is going to be the museum. I’m not sure if it will gobble up these two buildings as well, but it couldn’t hurt.

  3. OK, after looking at the website, I’ll say these two buildings will be next to the museum, but not part of the museum. Some information here http://www.armeniangenocidemuseum.org/
