April 28, 1908: Three persons were slightly injured about 8:20 o’clock in the evening when car 42 of the Capital Traction Company hit an automobile and knocked it over an embankment at Fourteenth and Varnum streets. The automobile was driven by Miss Dona McCracken, of 1341 Fourteenth street northwest, who was accompanied by Mrs. F.S. Pollard, of 1331 Fourteenth street northwest, and Mrs. Elizabeth Miller, of 941 New York avenue northwest.auto-accident
