May 6, 1930: The names of nine business and trade organization representatives were added to the executive committee of the “Buy in Washington” council at a luncheon session in the Willard Hotel. A by-laws committee was named, and plans were discussed for a general gathering of members of the affiliated groups in the near future.willard-hotel
