Gay Pride Then … For the Now, Get Out This Weekend!

Here’s a great image from the New York Public Library’s Digital Gallery. I think its more than appropriate to end the week, and start the weekend with this image. Earlier this year, Frank Kameny’s home was designated by the Historic Preservation Review Board as a local landmark. The home at 5020 Cathedral Ave., NW, served as a meeting place for planning gay civil rights campaigns and strategies during the 1960s and the early 1970s.
