I wonder who lived here in 1920. What would a survey of past residents tell us about our community?
just an interesting side bar on the subject…. On the 700 block of Rock Creek Church Road a house was once owned and lived in by Grace Darling Seibold, founder of the American Gold Star Mothers and daughter to General Custer’s Chief of Staff. When was this house built? fascinating…I recall seeing old 1920’s era publications at the Historical Society of Washington when it was at the Heurich castle, with info on Petworth Citizens association? and Park view School there.

According to the DC Tax Records, this house was built in 1908.
