Who is this Guy

The Washington Kaleidoscope (WK) intends to paint a broad picture of the now and then that makes the District the special place that it is. Much like a kaleidoscope, the collective memories and experiences of its citizens – whether life long or recently arrived – creates a multifaceted world different from all others.

The WK was created by Kent Boese at the end of December, 2008. Being unsatisfied with the quality and breadth of other blogs, especially of historical interest, it was decided that an attempt to balance the here and now supported by substance and context needed to be tried.

I welcome all comments, suggestions, and submissions. I only request that visitors/contributors respect each other, and if need be, agree to disagree.
